The Fort Sanders practice location is served by the anesthesiologists and CRNAs that made up the former Fort Sanders Anesthesia Group, PC (FSAG). FSAG was formed in the late 1960’s by a group of anesthesiologists. Since its inception, we have been committed to providing high quality anesthesia services 24 hours a day to the patients, surgeons, medical staff and medical facilities that we serve. The practice location today has grown to more than 48 Board Certified anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, (CRNA) and RNs.
The physicians and nurse anesthetists of the former Fort Sanders Anesthesia Group have been providing quality and comprehensive anesthesia services at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville for more 35 years. Additional anesthesia services are provided at the Fort Sanders West Outpatient Surgery Center, The Physicians Surgery Center, and at GIA, an outpatient facility providing gastroenterology services. The practice also provides the staff of doctors who provide interventional pain management procedures, board certified in pain management, at the Knoxville Pain Center.
Today, our patients range from infants to senior citizens. We offer a broad range of services from surgical anesthesia to chronic pain management.
