The St. Mary's practice location is served by the anesthesiologists and CRNAs that made up the former Knoxville Anesthesia Group (KAG). KAG was formed in 1957 by a small group of anesthesiologists. Since its inception, we have been committed to providing high quality anesthesia services 24 hours a day to the patients, surgeons, medical staff and medical facilities that we serve. The practice location today has grown to more than 45 Board Certified anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, (CRNA) and nurse practitioners.
The physicians and nurse anesthetists of the former Knoxville Anesthesia Group have been providing quality and comprehensive anesthesia services at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville for almost fifty years. Additional anesthesia services are provided at the St. Mary's Ambulatory Surgery Center and the Tennessee Valley Eye Center. The Practice also provides the professional staff of doctors and nurse practitioners at two St. Mary's Pain Management Centers in Knoxville.
Today, our patients range from premature infants to senior citizens. We offer a broad range of services from surgical anesthesia to chronic pain management.
