The Parkwest practice location is served by the anesthesiologists and CRNAs that made up the former DOR Anesthesiologists, PC (DOR). DOR was formed in the mid 1970's by Orville Duncan, MD, Turon Ozdil, MD, and Cecil Rowe, MD, a group of anesthesiologists. Since its inception, we have been committed to providing high quality anesthesia services 24 hours a day to the patients, surgeons, medical staff and medical facilities that we serve. The practice location today has grown to more than 35 Board Certified anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
The physicians and nurse anesthetists of the former DOR Anesthesiologists have been providing quality and comprehensive anesthesia services at For Sanders Parkwest Hospital in west Knoxville for more than 25 years. Additional anesthesia services are provided at the Parkwest Surgery Center, and at Healthsouth's Knoxville Surgery Center. The practice also provides the staff of doctors who provide interventional pain management procedures, board certified in pain management, at the Knoxville Pain Center.
Today, our patients range from infants to senior citizens. We offer a broad range of services from surgical anesthesia to chronic pain management.
